About these terms
These draft terms are intended to outline the basis on which Suffolk Webworks may provide website design, hosting, care and related services. Final client terms will be reviewed before launch and may also be supplemented by an individual quotation or project agreement.
Quotes and project scope
A quotation or proposal will describe the agreed work, price and any important assumptions. Work outside the agreed scope may require a revised quote or additional charge, agreed before that extra work begins.
Payments
Deposits, stage payments, final balances and payment dates will be set out in the relevant quotation or agreement. The final payment and cancellation arrangements will be confirmed before launch.
Client content and approvals
Clients are responsible for supplying requested text, images, branding and other materials in a timely manner and for ensuring they have permission to use material they provide. Clients will be asked to review and approve relevant stages of a project.
Revisions
The number and scope of revisions included in each website package will be confirmed in the quotation or project agreement. Substantial changes to an approved brief may be treated as additional work.
Ownership
Ownership and licensing of website designs, client-supplied material, third-party software, fonts, plugins and other assets will be set out in the final client terms. These details will be clarified before accepting live projects.
Hosting and ongoing care
Where hosting or ongoing website care is supplied, the service level, charges, renewal or cancellation arrangements and any third-party dependencies will be explained before the service begins.
Third-party services
Websites may rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, domain registrars, plugins, payment services, booking systems or social platforms. Their availability and terms may be outside Suffolk Webworks’ direct control.
